If you have 10 minutes you can absolutely whip up a healthy, filling and delicious dinner. All it takes is some pre-washed and chopped veggies that are ready to go in your fridge, and some lean protein- either organic chicken breast or wild shrimp- and you can quickly throw together a meal!
We often recommend stir-fry dishes to our clients who are craving a warm bowl for dinner, but are burnt out on soup or simple grilled chicken and steamed veggies. Plus they're easy to make for the whole family- you can serve them over salad, cauliflower rice, or if your family eats grains, some steamed white rice (which has a lower arsenic content than brown rice).
Stir fry dishes are easy to improvise! Simply follow this easy formula:
1) Sauté 4 oz of your favorite lean protein (chicken, fish or shrimp) in coconut or avocado oil.
2) Add coconut aminos, ginger and garlic, plus veggies of your choice! A little red pepper flakes or compliant (sugar-free) sriracha can take the heat up a notch, if you like it spicy.
But for those of you who like to follow a recipe here's a (non-exhaustive) list of some of the quick and easy stir fry dishes we love to whip up!
